Evolution of Description into a WG Charter
This BOF will focus on revising RFC 977 for two purposes. The
first is to clarify ambiguities in the original document and the
second is to add a specific mechanism to add standardized
extensions to the protocol in a manner similar to work being done
to extend SMTP. The intent is to move NNTP along the regular
standards track and provide ways to standardize accepted current
practices as well.
