Architecture
There is no standard switch. We have a cable mesh. Any points in the facility can be cross-connected. There are public switches available for those that need it. There are also private connections.
Problems

- Future Technology --
- Gigabit Ethernet (coming soon)
- ATM Technologies (Jay would rather not)
- IP over Sonet
- Encourage private connections

- We don't know. We don't measure the private interconnections.
- The Gigaswitch is handing about 320M/sec
- Space
- Different Model
- This IX was built for content

- We don't really want to do this.
- Expansion: New Building (700 new shelves)
- We will be going International as well as two the east coast
- Lots of participants
- Services
