   Goals of the study 

Measure Internet routing from End User Viewpoint by:

• looking at variety of pathways (traceroutes) between two end sites

• looking at the changes in pathways between two end sites

• identifying normal patterns (98%)

• investigating the causes of normal pathway patterns and what that means to an end-user

• identifying abnormal pathway patterns (2%)

• finding out what causes the abnormal patterns
