Questions & Answers
- Will the RS Software still be supported and if so, how?
- This part of the on-going funded activity.
- How many people use RTConfig?
- Lots of people in Europe, not as many in the US. Merit is one
that does use it. It is also suggested that folks may want to hold
a BOF on how to use RTConfig.
- Some users of the RS are experiencing problems with routes supplied by the RS
at MAE-WEST. Is this being fixed?
- There is some new features in the latest release of the RS code that
helps that.
- What is the current status of the Sprint NAP's continuing use of the RS?
- Sprint sees this NAP as a Level-2 NAP. It appears that there will no
longer be an RS at the Sprint NAP once the current RS is decomissioned.
However, it is possible that some other party might be able to
provide this service at this location.
- What about the PAC*BELL?
- It appears there will be support for continuing the operation of the
RS.
- What about MAE-EAST?
- It appears there will be support for continuing the operation of the
RS.
- What about MAE-WEST?
- It appears there will be support for continuing the operation of the
RS.
- What about the Digital Exchange(PAIX)?
- It appears there will be support for continuing the operation of the
RS
- What will happen to statistics collected via the RS?
- It has not been resolved as yet?
