• No additional overhead due to multi-homed sites
  • both in steady state and in the presence of failures
• Potentially suboptimal routing during failures
  • could be ameliorated by limited distribution of additional routes
    • e.g., route to 140.15.7/24 could be injected into ISP1 as well
